Johnny Depp has reportedly signed up to appear - or should that be disappear? - in a new film version of The Invisible Man.
The Universal film, based on the HG Wells novel, is apparently being written by Ed Solomon, who wrote Men in Black.
Claude Rains played the title role - a scientist who uses a drug to turn invisible only to find it also leaves him paranoid and psychotic - in the 1933 film version.
