Subject: Top Gun sequel takes a step closer

The sequel to Top Gun looks like it's another step closer, after producer Jerry Bruckheimer tweeted a picture of himself and Tom Cruise.

Deadline reported that Bruckheimer flew down to Louisiana, where Cruise is filming Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, to talk about a possible plot line.

A sequel to the hit '80s film has been talked about for decades - in 2011 Cruise confirmed he was involved in a Top Gun sequel.
