Subject: Rapper Mos Def ordered to leave South Africa in passport row
Written By: Philip Eno on 01/16/16 at 6:01 am
The American rapper best known as Mos Def has been ordered to leave South Africa within 14 days after being arrested for breaking immigration laws. Mos Def, now known as Yasiin Bey, was held at Cape Town International Airport on Thursday after trying to leave the country with unrecognised papers. The Department of Home Affairs said the 42-year-old produced what he called a "world passport". It said the singer had overstayed his tourist visa, obtained in 2013.

Well that makes a whole heck of a lot of sense.
So if I understand this correctly, he was caught LEAVING THE COUNTRY with improper papers, and as a result the South Africans have ordered him to LEAVE THE COUNTRY some time within the next two weeks? ???
