I've seen this style on a lot of guys - especially Latino guys - at my college, mainly on guys in their early-mid 20s. I've noticed it in the past year as an alternative to the man-bun thing. Is it popular where you live?

No, but there was one person in my high school class who would always have that hairstyle for some reason, but he was one of the creepy guys of the whole school.

Yes. I live in Texas where there is a huge Latino community. It's just another day at the office to see this hairdo. One of my dialysis nurses--who is white--is married to a Mexican man with his hair like that. :)

There's a guy on a tv show called Gogglebox in the UK who wears his hair like that

Not where I live, but I have seen a boy in the mid 2000s with that hairstyle. Now, I don't. It's still not as bad as girls shaving half their head.

Yeah, after some conflicts I had around here in 2014, the wind went out of my sails. I lost interest. Cat and Don Carlos encouraged me to return.
