Well, this is certainly the best song of the year so far, probably one of the only ones I'll actually remember ages from now. Hopefully the rest of 25 is just as strong and proves Adele has staying power after such a long hiatus.

Eh, I disagree. We have no idea how 2016-2019 will turn out yet, so we can't really say that this is the defining song of the 2010s. As for the song itself. Sorry, not a huge fan. I was never into Adele, and to be honest, nothing has changed. I don't really feel like this song is doing anything new nor does it really grab me. It's not a bad song, it's just not my style.

Umm... We did have some decade-defining songs and artists in the 2010s. PSY, LMFAO, Adele, Lorde and Bobby Shmurda to name a few.

21 and its singles are more defining, honestly. Hello and the rest of 25 are just further cementing Adele's place in pop music.

In my opinion, I don't think we can say whether a song in this decade is defining or not. We need to wait until at least 2020 or 2021.

This song has a far greater chance at being the defining song of the decade than the Adele song does. This song represents everything that is 2010s music.
