Weight loss legend Jared the Subway Guy's house was subject to a Federal search and seizure yesterday.

Apparently a few months ago, the Executive Director of The Jared Foundation was charged with kiddie porn violations.  Law enforcement is silent with regard to the purpose for the raid on Jared's place.

Subway has of course taken the wimp's approach and has cut all ties with Jared and sanitized his name from their website, even though he has neither been accused nor charged with any crimes, nor is there even an innuendo of wrongdoing on Jared's part.

Most people will have just read the headline and think Jared was a child pornographer not someone else in his charity organization. 
I really hate the media when they spin stuff (which they always do to sell more ad space,) and ruin someone's life.

I did think that Jared was pretty cool though.  That's why I am hoping that he is cleared of any wrongdoing.
