Subject: Disney ditches Tron sequel

Disney has decided not to go ahead with a third Tron movie, after 2010's Tron: Legacy, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Tron: Legacy, which was a sequel to the original 1982 sci-fi set inside a computer world known as the Grid, took more than $400m (£262.6m) worldwide.

Its stars Olivia Wilde and Garrett Hedlund (above) and director Joseph Kosinski were set to return for the untitled third instalment which - although it had not been officially green lit by Disney - was expected to start filming later this year.
