Subject: Simon Cowell to produce Hollywood Beatles film

Simon Cowell is to co-produce a Hollywood film about Brian Epstein called The Fifth Beatle.
The pop Svengali said he has always been fascinated by the life story of the man he regards as the "most talented manager ever".
The film was written by Vivek Tiwary and is an adaptation of his graphic novel, which tells the story of how Epstein discovered The Beatles in Liverpool before guiding them to worldwide success.
Epstein was working in his parents' furniture and record store in 1961 when he first heard the group at the Cavern Club and became their manager.
He died in 1967 from an accidental overdose at the age of 32 after struggling with drug addiction and his sexuality.
