Subject: Atomic Kitten cancel dates on upcoming greatest hits tour

Dates for Atomic Kitten’s forthcoming greatest hits shows have been cancelled – with one of the group apparently confirming the tour has been axed.
The Liverpool trio – Liz McClarnon, Natasha Hamilton and Kerry Katona – were set to play a string of dates in the UK and Germany to celebrate 15 years since they released their first hit Right Now.
But fans on social media said they had been told the shows were not going ahead and their money would be refunded.
Most of the dates – including their homecoming appearance at the Liverpool O2 Academy – are now listed as cancelled on venue and ticket websites.
But tickets are still available on the Ticketmaster website for shows in Birmingham on June 3 and in Scarborough – with boyband Blue – on August 29.
Although there has been no official announcement from the group, Kerry appeared to confirm the fans’ cancellation fears in a tweet to a woman who said she was “gutted” to hear the tour had been cancelled.
She wrote: “so are we!! Sooooo gutted but we are still the best of mates xxxxxx”
One fan, Kathryn Weir, shared a screenshot of an email she received from VIP Nation events telling her the tour had been cancelled, and said she was “devastated”.
Atomic Kitten burst on to the pop scene in 1999 with their debut single Right Now and went on to sell more than 10,000,000 records globally.
The Big Reunion stars were due to kick off their tour in Germany and visit London, Oxford, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle and Liverpool.
Last year Garston-born Liz told the ECHO they were excited about going on the road again.
She said: “When we were approached about a tour we thought that’s nice for us but we weren’t sure whether anyone else would want that. But I’m so grateful everyone is indulging us. I can’t believe the response.
“We want to keep it really fun. It’s going to be all the hits. It’s about having a nostalgic night with Atomic Kitten.”
The ECHO was unable to reach Atomic kitten’s representatives for comment.

Their greatest hits came out in 2004. They're just now touring to support it? :D

I know that Kerry got pregnant again but not sure of other reasons why they opted out of the tour. It would be wonderful if they came to America.
