Subject: Whose Line Is It Anyway? comes to West End stage

A live version of TV comedy Whose Line Is It Anyway? will come to London's West End stage this summer, 16 years after it was last on British screens.
Host Clive Anderson will return, as will comics from the original show including Colin Mochrie, Greg Proops, Josie Lawrence and Brad Sherwood.
The Channel 4 improvisation show was on air for 11 years until 1999.
The stage version will play at the Adelphi Theatre for two weeks, from 20 June to 5 July.
"Expect all the fun of the television program - only this time live on stage," Anderson said.
It is the first time the TV programme has been adapted for the stage. It will be overseen by original co-creators Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson.
In the USA, a version of the television programme is still broadcast, hosted by actress Aisha Tyler.
"The level of talent involved in the show on both sides of the Atlantic has been phenomenal and we've been very lucky to work with all of them," said Paterson, who also created BBC2's Mock The Week. "Expect the best of both versions."
Whose Line Is It Anyway? began as a six-part series on BBC Radio 4 in 1988 with Stephen Fry and John Sessions as regulars.
