Massive congratulations to Alan Rickman who has married his partner of 50 years Rima Horton.
The 69-year-old actor and director has been in a relationship with Rima since they met when he was 19 and she was 18.
Alan revealed to German newspaper Bild that they recently tied the knot in secret.
"It was great because no one was there. After the wedding in New York, we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and ate lunch," he said.

I heard that Alan Rickman sent Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio's husband a photo of him on top of Mary (at the end of Prince of Thieves) that said, "Happy Christmas."

I bet lots of women wish they were her! I liked that movie. Too bad he had a sword put through him in the end! :(

He TOTALLY stole the show-along with Morgan Freeman. In fact, EVERYONE was outstanding in that movie except for Kevin Costner. Who ever said that Kevin Costner could act? 8-P
I heard that K.C. had a lot of Alan's scenes cut because he was stealing the show. ::)

I think Alan Rickman is an OUTSTANDING actor. Just about everything I have seen him in, he was wonderful. Galaxy Quest, Sense & Sensibility, Sweeney Todd, and of course Robin Hood & Harry Potter. He is probably one of my favorite actors.

Damn right he stole the show! He always does! And the roles he plays always make some woman fall for him. Well, in the case of Dark Harbor, it was a man! Yeah, I gave the ending away. He can be seen totally naked in that one incase you didn't know. ;) The movie Rasputin, in which he plays the title character, is also a little too hot! Great, now I'm fangirling all over the place.
