A new stage musical of Groundhog Day is to have its world premiere at the Old Vic in London next year. Based on the 1993 comedy film with Bill Murray, the show will be directed by the Old Vic's new boss Matthew Warchus.

At least they will have an eternity to work on any issues found on opening night. They should be able to make the perfect musical eventually.

The main lead has not been announced yet, but there is a chance he could be there for the opening night.
