Subject: Katy Perry's popularity

As famous and successful as Katy is, I don't exactly believe she's as well-known as say Beyonce or Taylor Swift. It's like everyone knows who these two are. Katy Perry doesn't seem quite on that level. Kind of strange.
What do you guys think?

If you check the singles charts ... I believe that Perry and Rihanna are streets ahead of the others (at least in number 1 records).

I'd say she's pretty well known, 2008-2009 was around the start of her career; beyonce and t swift have been around for some time (well atleast beyonce). In the next year or two I think she'll be up there with them.
All 3 of them are gorgeous as well :)

She's extremely successful. I'm a fan, too. I just find it strange that she doesn't seem famous to the point of everyone knowing who she is.

I've never met anyone who didn't know who Katy Perry was.

I think she could increase her fame if she did a duet with Ke$ha.
Or better yet, with both Ke$ha and Ariana Grande.
