Subject: Oldest human faeces show Neanderthals ate vegetables

Written By: LyricBoy on 06/27/14 at 8:30 pm

This in from the BBC; apparently by studying millennia-old human doody they determined that Neanderthals were vegetarians.

Gotta love the British.  The way they spell "faeces" makes even doody sound classy.  ;)

Lol, gross.  :P I don't get that spelling of it either. It looks like FACES at a first glance. And you could say some people's faces look like it too... ;D I honestly don't know how waste matter can survive that long.

Of course. What do you think it is made of? What goes in, must come out.

I can think of some good examples, but decorum and possibly board rules preclude that.  ;D

We as humans should do a self-check.

A couple of months ago I had to give my first-ever doody sample to a doctor for a test.

They gave me this plastic sample bottle that was probably 3" in diameter and 3" high, along with a wooden popsicle stick by which I could place the sample into the bottle.

For a while I thought it would be a good gag if I had packed that sample bottle solid to the top with, uh, "material" and then smooth off the top with the popsicle stick.  Maybe carve my initials on the top.

But I chickened out.  ;D  Maybe next time...

I'm about to go eat dinner...thanks for destroying it for me!  ;D 8-P That reminds me of a prank two ex friends played on me. They mailed me a bag of animal droppings. They thought I'd laugh, I wasn't so amused.  >:(

I mean in the bathroom, put it in a baggie then show it to your doctor.

That technique is employed by police forensics, etc.

Yeah, for sure.  :D

It all started with a "free lunch" I got at work; they brought in some Panera. (Tip: Avoid the asiago roast beef sammie.) we were working on a big deal where we were buying another company.

That free lunch ended up costing me $2k all-in between the emergency room , colonoscopy, etc. Later when I was asked "how did that deal work out?" What I wanted to say was "pretty good for the company, but I really took one up the butt on it." And I would not have been exaggerating!  :o

wasn't there a Subway instead?

The worst part is, ordering from Panera was MY idea.  ::)

A few weeks later we went out to visit the new company and meet the employees.  When we arrived they had everybody set up with box lunches... from Panera.  :-[

I passed on that deal, and bummed a cookie instead from our company's owner.  ;D

Panera is good, not quite the healthiest.
