Audrey Geisel, widow of famed children's author Theodore Geisel -- a.k.a. Dr. Seuss -- has lifted an 11-year ban on live-action adaptations of her late husband's books. Geisel has given the A-OK for Eraserhead director David Lynch to helm a live-action film based on the Seuss classic, Green Eggs and Ham.

Little is known about the film as of yet, but it will star Robert De Niro as Sam "Sam-I-Am" Caito and Al Pacino as "the other guy," named Jack Salvatore. Sam tries to convince Jack to eat the titular food, much to Jack's refusal. Lionsgate will distribute the film sometime in 2016.
