Around my college campus, I couldn't help but notice a lot of young ladies styling their hair a little poofier, more volumized, and sometimes in this bouffant up-do. It's not quite up there with '60s and '80s hairstyles, but hair does seem to be getting...poofier, I guess. 

Has anybody else noticed this? Maybe it's because I live in the South.  ::)

I think so too. And I hope so, getting very straight hair is difficult for some people with naturally curly, wavy, puffy hair and that includes me!

Sometimes I like wearing my hair up and poofy in the front! Oh yeah!! That should be the next hair trend for 2014-2015. It looks cute and you don't have to maintain it by keeping it straight all the time.

Yeah.  Poofy is back in again.  My hair is naturally wavy.  I wish I could have done the poofy hair thing when I was 12 but it would have wrecked my hair.  :(  I think I might have done the "poofy hair" thing when I was 10 and it was the in thing to do thanks to groups like Platinum Blonde and other bands that were similar to them.  :)  I'm going to have to look back on my old photographs and see.  :)
