David Cassidy was charged with a felony DWI rather than a DUI because of his prior 2011 DUI conviction in Fort Lauderdale.

Former 1970s teen idol David Cassidy was charged with a felony DWI at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning August 21st in Schodack, New York.
According to the Troy Record, the 63-year-old Emmy nominee and his fiancée were stopped by police after taking the wrong exit off I-90.
Officer Tom Jones noted that the Partridge Family star was 'obviously intoxicated' after blowing a .10 percent blood alcohol content.
