I've never cared for Hostess anyway.  Not that the snacks taste gross, I just hardly ate any of it.  Little Debbie on the other hand.... MMM I love most of their snacks.

I preferred Ho Ho's when they were packaged in that real thin aluminum foil.

Carefully unwrapping the treat and then wadding up that chunk of foil were half the fun of the experience.

When they switched to those aluminized-plastic-bag thingies, that was a big turn-off to me.  8-P

I liked freezing Ding-Dongs, Snoballs and Cupcakes and eating them partially thawed, one of my teachers gave out 2-packs of Zingers as rewards for completing homework on or ahead of schedule, and my family took Mini Muffins and Donettes on road trips since before I was born. I think there might still be an empty Donette wrapper in the glovebox of what used to be my truck and was my dad's before that, assuming the guy I sold it to never cleaned it.

Looking forward to the return. And those of you in the Northeast US will look forward to Drake's Cakes restarting production under McKee Foods later this summer (as far as I've heard anyway)
