Well the legendary Dutch rock band, Golden Earring, has been out there since 1961, so there's no reason why these other young whippersnappers can't have another go at it, either. 8)

...and the Rolling Stones are going on tour.....
They are in Toronto in 2 weeks. Cheapest tickets were $85, but sold out fast. Now the cheapest tickets are $183. When I was working part -time in the mid-80s, concert tickets were about $20, still affordable for people my age.
Who can afford $183 except for the rich?

this is the first time Mariah has charted this high since E=MC².

I love how Mariah Carey came out with a new song named "#Beautiful" at almost the exact time that will.i.am came out with his new song "#Power". It's always interesting when musical "coincidences" like that happen at the exact same time. This happened in the 00s with certain rappers, when all of a sudden one rapper was suddenly a guest feature on a whole bunch of all songs all at the exact same time (see: Akon).

Because #'s are put before words on Twitter when people want to draw attention to it, eg #kony2012, (the technical term is "hashtagging.") And if a word becomes hashtagged enough, Twitter will label it a "trending topic." So they make songs with pound-sign the first character in the titles to trick Twitter into thinking the songs are more popular than they are.
