I think its has some ground.  I have kept saying Neo 60s over and over and over on this forum.  Maybe this will make everyone realize there is alot of truth to why I am saying it lol.  Also  keep in mind    the 90s  had 60s fashion        so for 90s fashion to have a comeback the 60s go with it.

Yes. Its going to get pretty crazy with all these psychedelic patterns but its a natural  progression from minimlist fashion.
It literally is like the 60s with occupy wallstreet and all these social unrests in other countrys. Trust me there is more to come.

then its fair to say neo 60s.  Theres ppl who say how can you tell how the mid 2010s will be?  Well  if the fashion is already out for preview and music is diffrent  I would say thats a good indicator lol.    By the way are those women wearing fake nipples in that article you linked?

Reading through the Wikipedia article, especially the part about the overturned cases, I think gives the chance of the 10s being the ice-breaking decade in terms of women's topfreedom, even if "the year" isn't until 2019. If topfreedom in the westernized world were to get "over the line" this decade, it would no doubt become the top contender for the biggest "fashion" craze of the era.

Some women were wearing objects shaped like nipples, some are purely topless.

The thing about these fashion trends is <1% of the population actually follows/cares about them.

I would say this sums it up for the guys.

Hipster is the biggest cultural trend in decades and will define '10s fashion.

Those busy, multi colored patterns were in fashion last year, shortly (if you're talking about highstreet fashion, the things a lot of people actually wear). And at the moment, they are fading away already; replaced by more muted colors and minimalism. At least that's what I see in the Dutch shops.

This is the style I see coming in, it seems pretty progressive too(not some phony revivalist imitation of the '60s or something), it's like a colorful glammy style with weird pattern schemes.

The men don't look too different(aside from some of the occasional  scenester/purple skinny pants types) but women are starting to dress kind of weird now.

I'm going to love the fashion of this decade

High-waisted seems to be trendy right now. High-waisted jeans, high-waisted shorts and even high-waisted 60's style bikini bottoms have been spotted on alot of female celebrities recently. Hope it stays instead of just turning out to be short-lived "flavor of the week."
