Gangnam style seems to be more of an Internet fad, at least right now. I don't hear it on the radio very often. I wish they would play it more though, my local Top 40 station where I live is incredibly outdated. They are still playing Lil Boosie and that song "Party Like A Rockstar".

So far I would have to say Call Me Maybe. It spent 9 weeks at #1 on the Billboard chart. Gangnam Style has yet to get there.
I could see the year-end chart for 2012 looking like this
1. Call Me Maybe (Carly Rae Jepsen)
2. Somebody That I Used to Know (Gotye)
3. We Are Young (Fun)
4. Gangnam Style (Psy)
5. What Makes You Beautiful (One Direction)

Well, Gangnam Style keeps getting beat out for #1 by One More Night, so I'd have to go with Call Me Maybe for this question. Speaking of One More Night, Adam Levine's really parlayed his stint on The Voice into regaining mass popularity for himself and Maroon 5.

The Voice really has catapulted his career, hasn't it? I know Maroon 5 has been around for years, but I never knew Adam by name (or what he looked like, for that matter) until he appeared on that show. Now he's everywhere and every girl I know wants to get in his pants.
