It's not.  I know many people in their mid-late 20s who could care less about Lady Gaga

The reason I asked was that most of the people I know who fall into that age group, most people I know over 18 doesn't like her at all. Lots of teens like her, I'd say half of them. But, we are in Canada, maybe bchris02 is from the U.S.

Gaga burnt out too early. She became crazy too fast!

There probably won't be another Madonna, at least for another century.

I was exaggerating a bit.  Back in 2009 it would have been accurate but today I never hear anybody talking about her.  My sister who's in college says she's not popular anymore.  Hard to believe since everybody in 2009 was comparing her to the Beatles as far as cultural and musical relevance.

I agree she peaked too early and I don't think there is a chance of her ever regaining the hype she had in 2009.  She'll still get hits, sure, but so does Britney Spears.

I'm 33, and I will not be truly shocked by Lady Gaga until she wears dresses covered with/ made of the following items:

* Bedpans (I would HOPE that they'd be clean, but as long as I didn't have to handle them...)
* Extreme amounts of mold
* A literal cow carcas (None of this wimpy, raw meat dress stuff!)

Anybody can record themselves singing while they're naked.  The process only requires a bedroom and a tape recorder.  The album producers are optional.  LOL!
