Subject: ALF is getting his own movie

Oh my, oh my! One of my most favorite sitcom characters will have his own movie.
I keep my fingers crossed for the movie to be successful and ALF to be as true to the original character as possible. I hope it won't be too bastardized and I hope that it will be a great hit. I want it to be the second ever movie I'll go to see (yep, I've been to the cinema only once -- exactly 10 years ago). It'll be CG and not live action as I hoped, but I'm still glad that my favorite character will get revived.

Anyone know who will be playing the Tanners?
One must wonder if Trevor, Raquel, and Jake will make an appearance! If done right, this movie ought to be Ockmoneck I mean, uproarious!

I don't think so. Michu Meszaros, the man in the ALF suit in some of the first episodes, is now 72. His last tv/movie appearance was in 1993.
You never know, though...he might be doing a cameo.

Did your ALF talk? I had a friend with a stuffed one who spouted stuff like "Hey, Gimme Four!", "NO Problem.", and "You're out of this world."
I myself had his poster on my wall for a few years, a gift from another friend.

You know it's been so many years since I've played with toys I can't really remember. He might have talked. XD
