I've been listening to No Doubt's latest tune lately, "Settle Down". The chorus is quite catchy, has sort of a Jamaican feel to it.
But towards the end, Gwen chants "I'm a rubber duck, I'm a rubber duck.". I am guessing this means she always bounces back to the top? ???

She doesn't say "I'm a rubber duck." She says "I'm rough and tough."

Ah, that makes some sense. Although I heard the song again today and it sure sounds like "I'm a rubber duck". I bet she sang it that way for eat least one of the verses. :D

I heard this song on the radio again today and I swear she is singing "I'm a rubber duck, I'm a rubber duck, you're not gonna keep disco down".
I wonder if this is some sort of "Disco Duck" reference? ???
