Seems a scoutmaster was attacked by a wild beaver, whilst swimming in the Delaware River. :o Twenty rounds of rabies shots were in order, but the scoutmaster is fine.
Fortunately here on the other side of the state in Beaver County, our beavers are more docile and would never think of attacking somebody.

Up from the dams, up from the mud,
Something furry out for blood!

In days of yore, from shore to shore,
Sanguinary beavers came,
And planted sharp and shining fangs
In arteries and veins!
