Honestly, Snoop's been a gimmicky parody of himself for well over a decade now. He peaked in the early 90s with his appearance on Dr. Dre's "The Chronic" and his debut album "Doggystyle". Not that he hasn't had some good songs since then, but he's fallen into that category of artists more known for their celebrity status and persona more than their work.
