Subject: Late 60s/early-mid 1970s influence on the 2010s?
Written By: Ryan112390 on 07/13/12 at 8:15 am
People here have already noted that there's a lot of '90s nostalgia going on, but does anyone else feel the 70s, in terms of fashion, is havng a bit of an influence on today? Was shopping with my girlfriend and a lot of the women's clothes look like they could've come straight out of the late 60s-mid 70s in terms of the designs and styles.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw some of the latest women's fashion. It does look very '60ish.

Many indie bands have 60's beatles type sound.

Stop lying, you don't have a girlfriend.

I agree with the 60's/70's part, but not the 90's part. This might end up being more a motown/soul decade than a nineties decade.

I have one. I met her at Niagra Falls last summer. You couldn't handle a woman like that, she's got no morals!
