How do you feel about this style: Denim jacket, t-shirt or regular shirt, and blue jeans? I see a lot of people wearing it around now--is it a hip look again? (I don't think it ever truly went out of style)

Also, would you say the "double denim" look is more of a 80s or 90s look?

I think its a good look.
And it was more of an 80s thing, than 90s.

Really though I don't have anything against denim jackets, I just think "Canadian Tuxedo" is a funny term (not to mention I'm trying to see if I can get a rise out of whistledog, who is Canadian). I mentioned in another thread that not only did I have a Levis denim jacket back in the early 90's, but I went full-on redneck and got the one with the wool lining.

I don't know if denim jackets are still considered unhip or if they're coming back into style, but I think that part of the reason why denim tops became somewhat uncool is because of their association with Jay Leno.  :P

It is all I wore in high school in the 80's.  My mom hated my jacket....I loved it. ;D
