Culturally speaking, April began at the end of January because there was a huge shift in music when Madonna did her halftime show at the superbowl. October will probably come next if rock and pop continue to drift the way they are.

Am I an April's kid? I mean I was born in June but by the following April I was 10 months old. I heard the April's showers and smelled the flowers. So how could I not be, just because I was only a kid doesn't mean I can have memories of it.

Culturally, with the growing popularity of indie pop this year I think the April 2012 feel began around mid March actually. :D

It's gonna be pretty cold next week in Germany. Early April will probably feel very Marchish, late-Februarish. But we could feel an 'April's vibe last week when it was around 16°C / 60°F and sunny.

I was in Germany (Wiesbaden) back in the late '80s for a weekend and thought it was absolutely beautiful. I would love to go back and spend a bit more time exploring the country.

It all depended upon how much of your fine German beer I drank. If I put away enough Lichers it felt like the 1970's. :D

It's actually early April over here in Germany (12:30 AM). Still feels exactly like late March though and I still wear exactly the same clothes which I wear last month. 1st of April is probably a transitional day when late March culture slowly leads into early April's pop culture.
