Daniel von Bargen who played Mr. Kruger on Seinfeld called 911 yesterday after shooting himself in the head.
Apparently he has diabetes and was supposed to go to the hospital to have two toes amputated. He didn't want to and decided to attempt suicide instead.
I don't get it....I'm assuming there's more to it than that. But either way it's sad.
As expected TMZ has posted the 911 call the dispatcher does a good job on the call....

This is sad, but not in a "he almost died" kind of way, but in a "why not just deal with your problems and not do something dumb"
Maybe I will make a donation in his name to the Human Fund

It might have been the proverbial cry for help if Mr. von Bergen was able to talk to 911 after shooting himself in the head. Even when nonfatal, most gunshots to the head are, uh, severely disruptive.
He might have had a .22 or a .25.
Now, if he's sure he wants to do it, one of these babies would do the job even at a botched angle!

He could also use it to remove the two toes...and the other three just for safe measure!
