Subject: Long hair or short?

Written By: Ryan112390 on 01/31/12 at 3:57 am

What seems to be more 'in' this decade so far? What styles/lengths of hair? I'm asking cause I myself haven't gotten a haircut since September but I want to know what sort of styles are in for guys.

To tell you the truth, I really don't know the answer to your question-but I want to give you some advice. Don't cut your hair/let it grow just because it is the fashion. Wear your hair the way you want to-what feels comfortable to you. If it is not "in fashion", who cares-start your own tread.

I live in a college town and I see every style there is and no one makes a fuss.

For guys, stuff like pompadours and big spikey hair is popular (the latter especially with Italian-american guys) at the moment. Short afros are becoming popular with black men.

Women usually either have semi-big hair or straight with side-swept bangs.

I see a lot of those hairstyles back where I work.

I'd say the same applies here in the UK.

Personally, I like short hair but I've seen a lot of different styles in my area.  I see lots of the longer "Bieber Flip" and a shorter mussed up look on the younger guys.  I don't see a lot of really long hair on younger guys but I do see older guys with longer styles plus a few mullets are still out there.  Bald, either by genetics or choice seem to be very popular.

All I can say is...

I love long hair, I just have it cut during times like Easter and Christmas...but the Summer I let it grow as well as my facial hair, and I grow a good van dyke mustache and beard too.

I love short hair now just because I'm losing my hair.
