I don't have any tats, but the people I know who have them say that you'd have to be pretty far gone to fall asleep, and stay asleep, while someone is doing something like this to your face.  You'd also have to be pretty far gone to go to a guy who looked like that guy.

But then I can't understand why people go for the massive large-area tattooing either.  I know a girl who is absolutely beautiful, and yet every so often she has another fairly large tattoo added somewhere.  The last one was a large tatt of the solar system on her thigh, it looks hideous.  :-\\

A small tattoo of Cap'n Crunch on your ankle, or the initials of your hubby on your wrist? Sure, why not.  But I see the big-ass tatts as a form of mutiliation...

Completely agree.  I have 4, and there is no way in HELL someone is just going to fall asleep while they're getting inked.  ESPECIALLY on the thinner, more delicate skin around the eyes.  The girl's statement is prespammersite.

i think she was totally (@#$-faced. when i was her age i could probably have gotten drunk enough to sleep through having my face burned. and it wouldn't have taken but 3 or 4 wine coolers to do it, too.

Well it's entirely possible.  But tattoos HURT.  And on the face, they'd hurt pretty damn bad.  I have tattoos on both of my feet, and at some points the pain was some of the worst I've had.  I wanted someone to slip me something! But, and I repeat myself, on her face?  Come on.  No matter how schnockered I was, that would wake me up in a second.

And not only that...if I was having something permanently inked onto my face I think I'd try to stay awake.  I watched almost every second that I got all of my tattoos.  I didn't want the artist to mess up and do something wrong!  Hello!!!
