some of the music in the new album isn't bad... but i prefer the old coldplay

The new stuff sounds way too overproduced, too clinical, I miss some 'human touch' when listening to those songs. Something I heard in their music from 2000-2002.
So, I voted 'noo!!'.

I understand their approach and attitude to their new song. In my opinion they're just exploring the magic of the electronic sounds and the effects of it. In a way their new direction gives the sense of empowerment and sense of direction for listeners. Even though the electronic sounds (which i do agree for it sounds overproduced) and in some ways streches our imagination but at the same time reminds us of hope and dreams we pursue all along within our trueself.... in some ways Owl city have done so for this but i guess Coldplay done this in a way that's more pleasant to the mainstream ears whereas Owl city is a bit too "softie" :p but i personally like
In my opinion this would be great if they've done it in simpler electronic sounds and possibly even going back to the roots of their more acoustic and alternative rock sounds
i still miss the old coldplay, I love the old coldplay :)
