Subject: Hewlett Packard - Time to Short this POS

Just read in the paper that Hewlett-Packard is already considering dumping their CEO, Leo Apothaker, who has only been there for 11 months. Rumor is that they want to put Meg Whitman in the seat, at least temporarily.
Now they're gonna can this guy and they are even trying to figure out how to dump their most recent acquisition, a company called Autonomy. They have not even completed that acquisition and they're stuck with it and a $10 billion :o tab.
This is in addition to the $1 billion they blew on the Palm OS debacle.
Sad to see what used to be a great company... H-P... get flushed down the commode by a series of inept, incompetent, bumbling CEO's, starting with Carly Fiorina and continuing to present. :-\\

Hey, most of HP's inventory was already on eBay, why not let Meg auction off what's left of the corpse?

I still don't get why they even bought WebOS then they just flush it all down the drain a year later without even really trying. WebOS had a lot of promise but unfortunately it probably will never be realized.
