When you are arguing to a 911 truther on whether 911 was an inside job
When TSA touching you in the privates is considered a safety procedure
When you no longer think of The Place Jersey Shore as The Jersey Shore
When a Black Berry is something you don't eat!
When you see Alex Jones walking down the street and you actually know who he is so you ask him for an autograpgh
When you believe Dec, 21st, 2012 is the last day on Earth
When you realize that a black president isn't such a big deal

You know it's the 2010s when social networking has the ability to overthrow entire governments.
You know it's the 2010s when the majority of comments on Youtube are from young Millennials complaining about how much they hate the 2010s.
You know it's the 2010s when you start to feel old because kids born in the late '90s are starting to hit puberty.
You know it's the 2010s when the '90s are starting to look more and more retro by the day.
You know it's the 2010s when the majority of middle school-aged kids probably don't even remember 9/11.
You know it's the 2010s when the date marked on your calendar falls anywhere between December 31st, 2009, and January 1st, 2020. :D

Yeah there's kids born in the year 2000 or even 2001 all over the youtube comments, you can tell by the (lack of) maturity of the comments. I can't believe there will soon be teenagers born in the new millennium. :o I'm just getting used to the 1995ers being almost grown, driving and having jobs already, I kinda still think of them as 8 year olds. ;D

You know its the 2010s whenever....
-When 480p is considered low(er) resolution
-You feel outdated if your phone isn't a smartphone, android, or iphone
-You walk into your local dollar store (not dollar general) and they're selling HDTVs :o (that actually happened to me today)
-When it's quite a surprise when there is a true r&b song on the top 40 (instead of this electro stuff)
-When its not uncommon to see brothas walkin around with high top fades and fro-hawks
-When oversynthesized music is no longer just an 80s thing
-Whenever your constantly seeing one natural disaster on the news to another
-Whenever you find that technology is reminding you more and more of the jetsons

One of the things that's distinctive of early '10s are some of the graphic designs, these 3D style graphics, I see it alot.
There's just a really elaborate, colorful "zing" to the whole '08-'11 period that we haven't had in a long time.
Also notable is the fro hawk/fade mohawk hybrid that's pretty new(for black males anyway), it's comparable to the high top fade trend of the late '80s-mid '90s.
More people are wearing more elaborate designs in their clothes, anything from ruffles to crazy graphics.
And then there is the music which is mostly a rubbery synth bassline with electro bleeps and repeated syllables(ra ra oh la la, imma imma imma be) and the low bass wobble sounds and frentic glitches of dubstep.

Alex Jones and theories on 9/11 are actually more 00s than 10s. I've heard about it more in the 2000s than 2010s.
