I'm not sure if this is fully accurate since the Government likes to screw around with us, but if it is, it's about time! That A-Hole killed too many innocent people.

I'm gonna call for both threads to stay up.
The demise of OBL is both an excuse for politlcal bickering, but it's also a significant event in pop culture. Everyone remembers where they were when 9/11 happened. Everyone will remember where they were tonight.
(Me? I was checking the news - silver blew up this afternoon, meh, figure it out in the morning. What's going on on Fark? WTF? Brand-new 300+-post thread on President to address nation on "national security issue" at 10:30 pm on a Sunday? Twitter going ape-poop with military bases raising protection levels? Tomorrow was gonna suck anyways, and on top of this, the world's about to end. Pop open a bunch more tabs, flip on the TV, start scanning.
The next 30 seconds went like: (a) D00d, you be trollin' (b) Holy crap. Not only was d00d not trolling, but (c) OBL was still alive all this time, and (d) we actually got the bastard? (e) AMERICA, FARK YEAH! (f) Grab beer!

Where were you when you found out / How did you find out that OBL was pwn3d?
I was eating breakfast listening to the 9 o'clock news on BBC Radio 2. It is a holiday in the UK today so I didn't have to be in work. The news was announced by Obama at around 4.30 a.m. UK time so I'm guessing not many people in the UK heard the original announcement.

I wish I could have been at the celebrations. It's too bad I'm nowhere near them. It's about time he was found and something was actually done about it. I was in my high school math class when 911 happened so I definitely remember that dark day in history.

Lol everyone would look at me funny if I was at those celebrations. It would feel awkward being a 14 year old(15 tomorrow though) being in a crowd with a bunch of grown men and women. Oh, And I was only 5 when 9/11 happened, but I can remember it, I just didn't understand it's significance at the time.

Had to work waaaaaaay early this morning so I was in bed when the news broke, and I found out when I checked my phone to get on here and FB when I was a headline that said "Bin Laden Dead."
Needless to say I went out and turned on my TV and watched for about 5 minutes before I left for work but haven't really had much of a chance to watch since then.

a. It wasn't his wife
b. The woman that was shot and died got caught in a crossfire in another part of the building
c. It's not (yet) certain she was being used as a human shield to protect anyone

A good choice for Saddam Hussein would be an actor named Jerry Haleva. In the 90s, he made a career out of playing Saddam in films like 'Hot Shots', 'Hot Shots: Part Deux' and 'The Big Lebowski'

A g ood choice to play Osama Bin Laden would be the actor Cliff Curtis. He already has the experience, playing a terrorist in the Schwarzenegger flick 'Collateral Damage'

Well, wouldn't it look bad for the US government if Osama just appeared on TV again? Or was on the news for killing/bombing other people? I guess that's a few reasons to think the 'Great Leaders' are being honest.
But I gotta admit, some of it is suspicious.

Actually I'm saying I think it's highly possible (probable even) that he died 5 or even 10 years ago and the whole story is a lie. Or, they knew where his mansion was, but didn't kill him until the time was politically strategic.
The evidence Osama was behind 9/11 is far from compelling too. Especially when you consider the videos of his admissions are all probable fakes.
