Anyone else like this band? Kind of a mix of Blues Rock/Hard Rock/Grunge/Garage Rock.

I like them. Their new album is pretty different from their first, it has more of the indie rock sound compared to the more straightforward garage rock on their debut.

Its rock, so its better than most of the stuff popular right now.
Their new album debuted at #2 with just 39,000 copies sold in first week. :)

Yeah I like them too. "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" is a great song.

They are in the same class as Flog the Dolphin.

There's a joke in here about the relative merits of Flogging Molly and Flogging the Dolphin, so as long as you don't have to Cage the Elephant.
(There's a meta-joke in there about Queen that might tilt the balance in favor of Caging the Elephant over Flogging Molly.)
((And there's a meta-meta-joke in there about caging elephants, but it belongs on the politics board.))

Right. I hadn't heard of Cage the Elephant until this thread. But yeah, that's pretty good stuff. I like.

'Ain't No Rest For the Wicked' got greatly overplayed, and it never even was in the Top 40. Still a good song though.
