Will the Family Circus movie consist of Billy trapsing all over the neighbourhood?

Follow the dotted lines to box office bomb.  I like FC, but I don't think it would work as a film, as the comic is best known as a one panel, what story line could Bill Keane possibly come up with to fill 2h?

Well since all the characters' heads are oval shaped, maybe the father takes up a job in an egg factory.

The climax of the film is a catchy song-and-dance number where all those eggs come to life and sing "Every Egg is Special".  Even the Grandparents will join in the revelry from their clouds above...  8)

"Peanuts" was insipid and bland.  I didn't find it very witty and I found the overall message depressing:  Poor Charlie Brown.  He tries.  He falls.  He gets up and tries again.  He falls.  He gets up again.  It's not inspiring, it's depressing.
