Did she ever do any outstanding Big Screen work?
I think "Burning Bed" was made-for-TV and thus not subject to Oscar scrutiny. And her work in "Cannonball Run" would not warrant any special treatment.
Seems to me that a shout-out at the Emmys would be more appropriate for her.

I think "Burning Bed" was made-for-TV and thus not subject to Oscar scrutiny. And her work in "Cannonball Run" would not warrant any special treatment.
Seems to me that a shout-out at the Emmys would be more appropriate for her.
Wouldn't really matter as she was in films (Logan's Run ...... hello lol). They mentioned Wacko Jacko and he is not a movie star

She starred in enough films and was actually a member of the Academy!
