Subject: This decade should be called the "Twenty Tens"

It's not as easy as 1980s, 1990s etc, as only 2010 has "ten" in it, but when you see "2010s" written down it looks like a plural of "2010".
there isn't really any reason to have confusion to resort to nicknames, like in the 2000s, which are now generally called The Noughties.

tweens are generally ten to 13... not teenagers, not little children... tweenagers... so it would only apply for a couple years... I've been calling it the teens even though the entire decade isn't going to be "teen" years... it's enough in my book though.

I'm sure alot of the population had a good 00's, but me? It sucked for me personally between 2002-2009. 2000 and 2001 was okay though.

Most people refer to the '00s as the 'aughts'. The period between 2013 and 2019 will be called the 'teens'. I believe history will look at 2010-12 just as an extension of the aughts just as 1910-12 was pretty much an extension of the 1900s decade.
