Subject: Meet Christine O'Donnell

So far, she's put her foot in her foot, so often, that she deserves her own thread....

The latest....

And it gets much better....

According to O'Donnell, Nancy Pelosi is not really Catholic....

"First, let me say that Nancy Pelosi has—can benefit from making Christians look bad because she touts her Christianity when it's politically expedient for her, yet she doesn't follow any of the Christian moral principles.

What I want to point out is that Christianity is not a set of beliefs that you can pick and choose from. It's not a smorgasbord; it's not a buffet. You either embrace it all and represent it all, or embrace a worldview that says you can do whatever you want."

Ladies and Gentlemen, we may have our next Sarah Palin.

God, help us all.

If you want to talk creed, Jesus said give all your belongings to the poor and follow me.  We all fall short.  We're all sinners.  You too, Christine.

Judge not lest thee be judged.

BTW, I'll bet she's a very kinky girl.

The Wiccan community has an interesting response to McDonnell's claim of being a witch.

http://evilslutopia.com/2010/09/wiccan-community-responds-to-christine.html

I guess the message is this.....

If a tree says crazy things in a forest, will anybody give a crap?

By the way, if Christine O'Donnell, is a witch, then I'm a Oscar Meyer wiener.

::)

I love Bill Maher's take on the whole thing.

Christian, Muslim, Wiccan what have you, God/Gods/Goddess/Goddesses bless...I just have to trust you will keep religion out of government.  No vetting process required.  The First Amendment says there shall be no religious test for holding public office.  If a candidate was following Anton LeVay's Church of Satan, I would mention it at every turn if I was his/her opponent.  Not because it's Satanic but because it's so....goofy.

I don't like that poster because whatever it was she was into, it definitely wasn't Wicca.  Wiccans do not believe in satan and Wiccans don't have blood on their alters-as she claims it was a satanic alter with blood.  ::)

It's right in the Book of Amos.  These rich guys are killing lambs and calves to carry on their gluttony while homeless people huddled in the street.  They had fallen from God.

Catholic Church.  Day one. Book one.  Page one.  "The rich are supposed to share their wealth with the poor."

I understand why their was a Liberation Theology movement, but the Bible can be read as Liberation Theology straight from the King James version.  That's why it's important for the bosses to give a lot of media coverage to the pope strutting in all his finery and a few priests who happen to be pedophiles (or a few pedophiles who happen to be priests?)

Yeah, it was a parody.  Best I could do was take the witchcraft angle away from you new-agey folks and roll with a Crowley reference.  (Crowley wouldn't have had her because she was a ditz, and LaVey, total fraud that he was, wouldn't have had her because she wasn't a redhead, but that was the best the Internet had to offer, and I'll bet LaVey's followers would have said "redhead, brunette, close enough, especially at that time of the month" :)

Obligatory Non-Sequitur Pop Culture Reference: anyone who wasn't paying attention to Al Jourgenson in Ministry's Psalm 69 will never listen to that song in quite the same way again.

Christine O'Donnell's Greatest Hits (so far):

So how 'bout we go with a Joe Walsh reference.  (Side 1, Track 5.  You bought it, you name it.)

You see bipartisans?  Left and right.
Christine's big hits.
I try to look away, but I can't resist.
Every time I try to call it quits,
Her greatest hits.

(That's a big 10-4...)

Well, I was actually going for a way to succeed, and a way to suck eggs, but damn, how I love coincidences like that.

But let's break up all this talk of the occult with something a little more lighthearted.  How about an episode of Animaniacs?

Bill O'Reilly: Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

Christine O'Donnell:  American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains. So they're already into this experiment.

Bill O'Reilly: Silence, Christine, or I shall have to hurt you.

http://www.twolvesblog.com/images/stories/pinky_and_brain.jpg

No, really.  I didn't change a word of Chrstine's dialog.  Here's the actual transcript from her 2007 interview on The O'Reilly Factor.

You know I don't think Christine O' Donnell has the proper experience to be a US Senator. She should work for the state legislator first.

On the other hand the guy who is she running against(Chris Coons) didn't he say he was a bearded marxist or something? At least he has the proper experience to be a US Senator though.

Her sister is a lesbian.  So, it seems to me that Christine, the formerly pseudo-Wiccan turned Christian extremist, is compensating for her own "untraditional" family history.
