Yes, I noticed that. He had been a Democrat and now he's trying to run as a Republican. That should tell you right there the guy is nuts. What it tells me is how low our standards have dropped in the acceptable displays of weeping. In 1972 Ed Muskie lost his chance for the McGovern VP because he allegedly cried a few tears over the so-called Canuck Letter. He blamed it on snowflakes. But he was defending his wife's rep after they said she was a dirty-mouthed drunk. Naturally, Edmund was little upset. The 1972 McGovern VP slot went to Sargent Shriver (after McGovern dumped Tom Eagleton from Missouri. Talk about some emotional stability. He went in for a few courses of shock therapy) and then went on to lose 49 states -- all except for Massachusetts, not even McG's home state of SD!

Off topic but Glenn Beck reminds me of Jack Nicholson's Joker meets an OxyContin fueled Rush Limbaugh.
He's a slightly more intelligent version of Palin. A less creepy version of Ted Haggard. A less boozed up version of McCarthy.
He's Glenn Beck, and he wants to lead the charge of the Black Robed Regiment to create the Conservative ChristoMormon State of Glennbeckistan.

Ted Haggard is an amateur a-hole compared to Glenn Beck. If Beck gets busted with some homosexual prostitutes and some meth, it might help knock him down a few pegs.
