Mamma grizzly indeed, she is the new Phyllis Schlafly.  What is going on with Trak?  He is the they put in the military to counteract the fact he was arrested for vandalizing a school bus with his buddies.  Then there is Bristol, well...enough said. And papa grizzly, out there racing skimobiles while all this is going on.  I can't help feel bad about the kids left at home, but they are destined to provide us with much more mindliess entertainment.

I don't want her as President.  Even though I think the President is merely a figurehead these days, I'd seriously consider being on the first plane out, just in case I'm wrong and the President still actually has real power.

But by Dobbs almighty, I'd love to see her as a candidate.  And even if she wins, the world's supposed to end in 2012 anyways, right?  Sio let it go.  The two years of gaffes and laughs will have been worth it.

Actually, that's a black bear, but with Obama running in 2012, it still applies, no matter how grisly the economic scenario turns out.

Dubya wasn't a figurehead.  He was a peckerhead. 

Obama's problem is he has no political machine behind him, like LBJ did.  Everybody knew LBJ can and will hurt you (politically) if you don't get with the program.  They had the same problem with Clinton.  LBJ screwed around.  Nobody would talk about.  If some Republican blowhard sicced Ken Starr on LBJ, Ken Starr would end up face down in the Potomac!

Obama wants to reason with tools such as Mitch McConnell and John Boner.  You can't argue with them any more than you can argue with a mafia iceman sent to rub you out.  You gotta destroy them, or they'll destroy you.  Obama still wants to be fair and look out for the long-term interests of the country.  Fine.  If he can't scare the minority party away the pseudo-filibuster, you ain't gonna get anything done.  The other thing is, Obama has comportment of John Major or something.  The cat's really stiff and kind of like the Black Kraftwerk robot or something.
