It's science and stuff, so I'm sure it doesn't matter one bit to the anti-abortion crowd anyways, even if it was one of their main arguments for years now.

Scientists not that long ago contended that infants didn't feel pain either.

The nice thi g about the foetus-no-pain theory is, of course, that the foetus never gets a chance to complain.

Pain or no pain, I don't think it's the government's business to get involved in this issue.  It's strange to see people who advocate smaller government make an exception out of this issue.

You know the true-believers will be still be bashing Rove v. Wade thirty years from now?  The cynics among the political elite know it's a perpetual vote-getter for the Republicans.  The political elite have no interest in overturning Roe v. Wade.  Look, it's coming from people who believe the U.S. should get in as many wars as possible and hold the death penalty righteous.  That pro-life? Sh*t no!
