Read an interesting article in the Picksburgh Tribune-Review today. The article discussed how various agencies are renaming themselves. In most cases the perjorative term 'mentally retarded' is being replaced with 'intellectual disabled' because mentally retarded focuses on what a person can't do.
WTF? Doesn't the word 'disabled' pretty much do the same thing?

ADD contains the word "disorder", which I would imagine is a perjorative term. ;)
