Seems to me that advocating the violent overthrow of the gov't is a crime, or am I wrong?

It doesn't pass the "clear and present danger" test (Schenk v. U.S., 1919) or the incitement of "imminent lawless action" test (Brandenburg v. Ohio, 1969).
If some wingnut goes out and bombs an IRS office and blames it on that commercial, Barber's lawyers will easily maneuver Barber out of culpability.

He is probably the most cringe-inducing candidate I have ever witnessed. I still have not been able to make it entirely through one of Greene's interviews from start to finish.

If Greene won the primary fair and square, I think that says more about SC's electorate than it does about whoever gave him the money to run.
Besides, it's SC... the shi**iest state in the whole country. Crazy things are always bound to happen there.
