Thanks to the Chinese government's long-standing policy of allowing families to have only one child, coupled with their tradition of favoring male children, there are now 30 million more men than women in China. That's 30 million men with nothing to lose.
I used to think that we'd eventually come into conflict with China over oil, but this is just freakin' scary.

There won't be a war because of population growth, it just means that there is more people in China, now.

I think we're going to see SOMETHING. Such a huge disparity is going to have repercussions.
