Oh, no.  Not the Jim Cramer (warning, naughty words) who called a bottom on July 30, 2008.  LULZ.

(Actually, in the context of that screengrab, he was right about that, but it didn't save him, or anyone else who stayed long when the fit hit the shan, myself included.)

So no, "Douchebag" ain't even close to a strong enough word.  No, the word for Cramer is wrong.  Although I enjoy his schtick as entertainment (and it is a good way to turn the young'uns onto the idea that the investing world can be fun as well as profitable - it's not all just boring number-crunching), it's tempered by the knowledge that anyone who follows him blindly will lose coin.

Whenever you watch his show, remember this: if he was any good at it, he'd still be managing a hedge fund, not farking around trying to restore TSCM to its internet-bubble prices, and he sure as hell wouldn't be doing nightly stints as CNBC's registered clown.
