In a continuing effort to show a bipartisan approach to the nation's issues, it appears that the President is now employing some techniques that were used by former Vice President Spiro Agnew... Denouncing the media's reporting of the Obamacare protest movement

When in doubt about a sustained protest from the streets, blame the Nattering Nabobs of Negativism. ;D

That was hardly an Agnew style slam of the media, which clearly does "love a ruckus". You really need to get over it LB, you're sounding less and less rational as this goes on. Maybe you need a chill pill?

"BELGRADE, Mont. (AP) -- Trying to lower the temperature of the health care fight, President Barack Obama on Friday denounced news media emphasis on angry protesters at town hall meetings."
when in doubt, say that the media is too negative.
The president is now on the run, having underestimated the public opposition to the "plan". So in a tradition followed by presidents of all affiliations, he states that the media has it all wrong. Particularly telling when you consider that the media has been quite kind to Obama so far.

Did you see the clip or read the whole story? It was far from a denunciation, more like a mild chiding of the media emphasis. And from what I can tell, the "public opposition" while real, has been able to get more attention than their numbers would justify. From everything I have seen, support for reform is overwhelming.
