I know he's crazy, and uber dangerous, and wants to blow us all to smithereens and stuff, but am I the only one who giggles every time I see him?  There's just something so unreal and cartoonish about that dude.

Not a chance his son is a Communist and doesn't plan in changing so don't waste time with wishful thinking. ::)  But if the government bought food for it's people isn't that kind of like Socialism?  You know, the government being concerned that it's citizens have proper food and medical care.

The insular nature of North Korea makes it a much odder country to deal with, as opposed to, say, the old Soviet Union.

I'm gonna hafta go with "Ill."

First time (and I spent a while running through a list of the world's dirtbags, and I'm kinda freaked out that it's also probably the last time) that I've got zero sympathy for someone condemned to one of the world's most painful three-month-long deaths.  Go, cancer.

Patrick Swayze is also younger and has had less stress than being an evil yet slightly quirky dictator.  It comes down to risk factors.

Let's not forget, Swayze was diagnosed 17 months ago and today he looks like he is on death's door.

Billy Carter lasted about one year when he was disgnosed.  Gloria Carter lasted about 6-8 months.  I don;t think Ruth lasted much longer than either of her two siblings.  Somebow, so far, Jimmy Carter has avoided the family curse.

Nevertheless, unless it is diagnosed in very early stages (which almost never happens with pancreatic due to how it presents itself), this cancer is almost a guaranteed death sentence.  Usually by the time it is diagnosed, it has already spread throughout the body.  :-\\
